Privacy and cookies, in brief

The short answer is that this site does not track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no scripts. The only personal information it handles is what you choose to type into the contact form.

Cookie policy

This site uses no cookies. It does not track you. It runs no analytics and no tracking scripts of any kind. Nothing is stored on your device. So there is no cookie banner and nothing to accept or decline.

What you will not find here

  • No cookies. The site does not set cookies or use local storage, so there is no cookie banner.
  • No analytics. There is no visitor tracking or measurement script of any kind.
  • No third-party scripts. The site uses no JavaScript at all. Pages are plain HTML with one stylesheet.
  • No third-party fonts. The site uses the fonts already on your device and loads none of its own. Reading a page sends nothing to a font provider.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.

The contact form

The contact page and the hire page carry the same form. If you submit it, the details you type are sent to my email inbox through Web3Forms, a form delivery service. Those details are your name, email address, organisation if you give one, the subject you choose and your message. Web3Forms handles that information under its own privacy policy.

I use what you send only to reply to your enquiry. To have your message removed, ask through the same form and I will remove it.

If you never submit the form, the site receives no personal information from you.

What the hosting provider records

Vercel, the hosting company, delivers the pages. To deliver them and keep the service secure, Vercel records routine server logs of incoming requests. Vercel holds those logs. I do not use them to identify or profile visitors. They fall under Vercel’s privacy policy.

Links to other sites

My pieces link to external sources such as GOV.UK, Ofcom, the ICO and the NCSC. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If you follow a link, their rules apply.

Who is responsible

I run this site. I am Frank Vitetta, based in London. If you have a concern or a complaint about how this site handles personal information, raise it through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

If this page changes, the date at the top will change with it.
